LOL < funny ending, too bad the truth in this is not so funny. As someone who waited 5 years for disability that should be mine seeing as I worked since I was 15, I have often railed just like this, especially at the people in government who have their heads so far up their ass in a la-la land of lots of money, they aren't really representing us at all. Enjoyed as always, Tom.

I am still filling my bank of Emotional Wealth...and actually that was the title to my first rejection article submitted to a magazine back in 1993-lol how funny that seems to me now....

Someone said to me a couple of days ago that the 50 year wedding anniversary party their kids had for them was the happiest day of her life. I was appalled. Why? Because everyone's focus was on her and she craves the attention, and spend most of her time complaining about what she doesn't have. I turned to my husband, when out of ear shot and said,"The happiest days of my life and when I can do something special for you." He feels the same way. You don't have to have money or a mansion or a position of high esteem to be happy and satisfied. You just need to be able to love and to give of time, talent, or skill, or perhaps a good ear. Happiness and satisfaction are easy, hoarding takes great effort and leaves you fearful and paranoid; someone might take it away. How ludicrous is that? Bood topic my friend. Hugs, J'nia

One Who Does Not Care!

By far, the case with the vast majority of them, but there are a few who actually do attempt to help others. One who comes to mind immediately is Brad Pitt. He helped build low cost housing in New Orleans after Katrina, and he gives millions to charitable causes, every year.

If I ever become a 'Fat Cat,' I want to be just like him.

You know what is worse than being born into money??? Being adopted into it... Yet all the money in the world does not make us rich. Giving and sharing and seeing smiles make one rich beyond any means....
