First Season of - Spartacus - WOW! Talk about Realism!
Blood - Guts - Gore - Sex - Lust - Foul Language -
It’s got it All!

Many scenes contain Full Frontals!
There are No Birds hidden in them thar Bushes!
A Peckish Pecksniffian Pectoral Delight!
Gluteus Maximus’s Galore!

Glutinous Gluttony and Orgulous Orgies Abound!
Slaves and Foreplay - Gladiators and Sword-Play -
Fighting and Fornicating -
And - Yes - even some Love!

The Life Story of an Enthralled Thracian - SPARTACUS!
Were it not for a few Tidbits of Actual History -
Woven into the Story-Line -
T’would be a Gargantuan STAG film!

I would put this Series right up There -
With the HBO Series “ROME.”
Whether Righteous or Unrighteous -
Raw Bestiality is Pervasive Throughout!

Thumbs Up - or - Thumbs Down -
This Series is Not for the ‘Faint of Heart!’
Anyone with a Voracious appetite for Unveiling -
“Man’s Inhumanity to Man” - will LOVE It!

The Bowels of the Dollar Tree Store Were Invaded -
Helmet - Shield - Breast-Plate - Buckle - Sword -
A Luculent Lucubration Ensued -
A Lucullan Celebration at Maynard’s was Pondered!

Spartacus - Eat Your Heart Out!
Inventory was Taken - All the Above Plus -
Sandals? Check - Got ‘Em! Loin-Cloth?
Made One! Cut-Off Jeans, with Crotch Removed!

Starting from the Ground Up -
Sandals - Loin-Cloth - Buckle - Breast-Plate -
Fake Tattoos for Both Arms -
Sword - Shield - Helmet with Vizor ...

Something Missing? I Know - Battle Scars!
Check! At Seventy - Have Plenty of Them!
Something ROMAN? A-Hah! Got It!
A Toga from an older Costume ...

Quickly became a Cape! Bold Words Embellished -
From Caesar - “Veni - Vidi - Veci!” and - “ET TU BRUTE!”
From Latin 101 - “Amo - Amas - Amat!”
One Minor ‘AD’ was Added -
