When children are happy,
Their bright eyes begin to grow.
When children are unhappy,
Their wistful eyes also say so.
When children are serious,
Their wise eyes seem to know.
When children feel emotion,
Their tender eyes love bestow.
When children are pensive,
Their eyes soften like the doe.
When children are angry,
Their eyes narrow like a crow.
When they see strangers,
Their eyes look upon a foe.
When they see a flower,
Their eyes shine a bright glow.
When they have turmoil,
Their eyes cause a wind to blow.
When they start to cry,
Their eyes never try to lie.
Their hearts are open books;
Nature never betrays their looks.
Their breath fills ship’s sails;
Their sorrows cause loud wails.
Their energy fells hats from heads;
Their soft bodies warm beds.
Their laughter loosens roof tiles;
Their antics produces pure smiles.
Children’s eyes reflect their soul,
Innocent, pure, forgiving, whole.
Love ya!
