I lived my life off in the distance beyond anyone’s reach;
Along the way, I took it upon myself only God to beseech.
I endeavored to live my life according to the Golden Rule;
Law that finds its endpoint here on earth in Ultima Thule.
Where is this final destination but at the ends of the earth;
Searching for this remote region since the time of my birth.
I have come to many a crossroad that I met along the way;
Decisions to be made that only I could account for and say.
Yes, there have been plenty of obstacles put right in my path;
I always kept my emotions in check, suffered no undue wrath.
A few friends still, but mostly strangers always saved the day;
Whether in doubt or in certainty, I always knelt down to pray.
I continue to wander, as a fine thread unravels from its spool;
Always hoping and always seeking, soon to find Ultima Thule.
