Let me talk about your poem and not repeat what so many do: talk about themselves. You have penned a perception of one of the most challenging principals of honesty, secrets, those elements of fact and fantasy that challenge the sense of truthfulness. As you say in your 5th adn 6th line, secrets might leave the confines of one person, but be heard or read by another,only to make the secret continuing to exist with accomplices. Your last two lines remind us that some ideas and memories are best kept in limbo, for once they are spoken or written, emptiness is the risk one takes. I was never one to keep secrets very well so now I don't accept them so later I cannot reveal them...seems a safe way for me to deal with them...-e-

We all have secrets. It all depends on what the secret is hiding. No one wants to hurt their associates by revealing secrets kept to protect. But as recent court cases are beginning to reveal and things like WikiLeaks appear, many secrets hiding very vile acts that should only reside in fiction and not in real life come to life. The truth should come out and wrongs like false imprisonment corrected.
