This poem is one of my grandfathers, it was his poetry that inspired me to write poetry. Hope you enjoy it.

The clock struck twelve my heart gave a bound in bed I did delve for I heard a sound What can it be at this time of night what can it be a horrible fright I kept quite still I just couldn't move frozen still untill I got out of my groove For it was my cat on the prowl round the roof that was that as I gave it the hoof (c) Baz Busbe
