A galactic delight she was Sweeter than any star In the Milky Way Her toes were jeweled With 10 star sapphire ringlets That twinkled her name With every half-wink Of the moon’s left eye
The golden glow Of the North Star Illuminated from her halo And I wondered If I followed it Would it navigate My love towards her heart
Quickly she gathered stars Totaling half score And adorned my fingers With 10 rings of magic Made of glimmering stardust And a magician To the night sky I became And the stars paid me 100 twinkles of light To witness my acts Of midnight magic
But no rabbit Out of a hat Did I pull Instead out of her heart Her love I pulled And made it jump into mine Like it was a rabbit Ready to multiply
For some reason this reminds me of the song Severina by Mission UK ... where the gal dances across the stars. A very pretty write with a longing that crosses the universe.
