Poem Artwork

A cold snowy bluff
As if a fire afired to heat
Could paint a snow
in the Fall
somehow
as fire only arise
if its' heat exist
As a Spring
only needs heat
to coil and not to expand

And yet snow had fell on my brow
as a heated fire
grew in mine eyes
lighted all my Falls.

And I wslked in the layered snow
as if on a heated road in the spring
and felt cold as fire
when the the heated sun had fall.

And I wrote in a fire
that
the day had heated my brow
And those who passed that year
in early January
had said
He had passed here
a fore year before
a glory
had sprung
in the Spring
And blossomed
the same as some summer
blossoms
blossom in the summer
and wilt in winter to fall

And I grew to know the feel
of the heat
birthed the struggle
and fed the soil
in the
cold solstice air
of Winter and Fall

Tommy Tommy
Comes marching home again
When the men cheer in the air
and the ladies engage them
lay in Fall
after they had fight a heated fight
Come marching home again
Standing to stand
Over
a pending threatening Fall

A cooled
for their while in the hot day

PSS'T
Tommy, Tommy Hey Tommy
Johnny Johnny George
or
Who ever you are

Had you noticed
when the heat's on
In the winter
And remember to set the clocks
back in the Fall?
We all in life had forgetten a thing or so to
also keep our humilities

Not to raise a
scene
look the same as the
struggle a' stand
Less the foolish
make for a holiday
of a
Standing Struggle

Spring from the ground

Where they had planted it
And not
where Time itself
say
It Fall

If you had seen a heat
in thought for reply
I had had no thoughtfull
Season
fertile
a write at all

No matter whether it is winter and it is snowing, soldiers who go to wars feel the heat, within themselves, or from the scorching heat of the sun or the smokes and the fires.

Marvin, this is a thought-provoking write!

Epiphany by Gary Stephens

“We’re going to use nine megaton warheads in space and we’re not sure they’re large enough to be effective. Why would you even consider using kiloton-range surface-to-air warheads as back-up?” The answer was succinct. “Because they’re all we have.”
