A monster poem sounds like a blockbuster success to me. A really big thing! People love monsters and flock to the theaters just to see them. Hell, might even win an Academy award like Monster's Ball.

On the other hand, one in your head every night can drive you absolutely crazy. You'd better get a knight In shining armor to help you slay that demon. I'm available.

He snorts with disdain,

Monster poems may not be that hard to find after all. Why, because I have written a poem called "A Monster Calls", there's a new film by the name as well, but my poem is different from that feel-good film about an unlikely monster. But yes, Jane, you are right. There are indeed monsters within. More on this later. Seems we're thinking on the same wave length. John

makes me think the same , Makes me think the story , I use to read to my kids and children I taught , there is a monster under my bed..love your writing hugs scary..underneath loved it to pieces..hugs
