Not my genre not my niche. But you have said it well, Dear Jane.
About as close as I ever got to this tale was the 100 years I spent tucked away with Cyd Charisse in Brigadoon. I remember it well...me and Cyd and the heather on the hill...

If I have it right, the Elfin king and his faeries are coming back from the place of the dead, Valhalla. Now if that is not scary, I don't know what is!

Am I the only one that sees this? Of course your poetry is wonderful. But your premise is downright scary. Undead creatures and all.

This is just darn good, Jane. You have struck a chord in my heart and thought with this one for sure. When "Fairie fair Little Voice" can peaceably slumber knowing they are watched over by "Elfen Delfen Bjorn," makes for a nice, easy sleep. As you poetically said while in Valhalla, nothing, not even the hated trolls could bother them. To sing the praise of the forest was a wonderful thing to hear. When, eventually the rainbow comes it will be a welcome sight, and after they have learned much from "Elfen Delfen Bjorn" they will come away spiritually and morally better than before. What a wonderful piece of writing.
