Took me back to childhood memories of Carlsbad Caverns where my parents took me when I was nine. My adult years dictated I make numerous ice caves while climbing. Crystals of another kind. Enjoyed this.
I HAVE NATURAL HABITAT MOVIES AND THOUGH ONE COULD NEVER TELL BY THE OUTSIDE, THE BEAUTY INSIDE THESE CAVES ARE BREATHTAKING. THEY REMIND OF THAT OLD CLICHE',...YOU CAN'T TELL A BOOK BY IT'S COVER...' This is a splendid poem that captures the beauty and scariness of caves. I wonder if the beauty outshines the fear caves strike in my heart. This piece really makes me think about good versus evil in nature! Well done <3

Underground rivers and caves are fascinating,
they really light them up like a fairyland
in China's karst mountain regions.
Yes indeed, caves are by nature mysterious and you describe them very well, eerie, scary and yet inviting, especially if there are shining crystals inside. Lovely.
