I am not a Crook…

He said this with pride,

If so then can you tell me why,

He did do the worst thing, resign?

As a crook one has to be smart,

Or have at least a modicum of intelligence,

Or getting caught will be you from the start…

Watergate his downfall,

That and everything else, yes all,

He did make his bed,

Slept in it, or so he said,

Certainly didn’t share it with a whore,

Like a certain other president from Arkansas…

Take from this write what you will,

I know again I am just writing of swill,

But I had to do something,

Nothing I did of late seemed to fit the bill,

Didn’t want this morning myself to kill…
