Crank up that music, the only thing worth doing is listening to music, LOUD...LOUD...LOUD!

Poem Artwork

CRANK it UP…

I do not speak of the stuff that keeps you awake,

The speed, the meth, or even grand moms cake,

What I do reminisce and try to expand upon,

Is the music, the sounds, the killer blast,

Of good old fashioned rock n’ roll…

Screw that country sound, music for the people out west, all nerds,

Screw also the light listening crowd, that stuff is so much for the birds,

Then there is classical, I can listen to some, but give me music with words,

The kind that can’t be understood,

Meaning and reasoning lost to the upper two thirds…

I prefer to be in the low end of the population,

That lower one third, that knows what it actually likes,

The kind of music that we get from Metallica & Pearl Jam, oh yikes,

All that stuff we listened to in the recent past, forget before and after,

All I can get from them is just so much laughter…

So let me hear ya’ turn up that dial,

Push that button for the volume on the remote,

That’s right be an audiophile,

The only thing in life that is ultimately worthwhile,

This music does not bring on any act that is hostile,

The power herein more volatile,

Than that of a nuclear bomb, or maybe an atomic pile…

Yes, please crank up the music. If its too loud then your way too old. However, I am not old, so by all means crank up the music....LOL.

Love.....Rene'

Hmmm... let's see.. I'm trying to think how my music would sound at top volume: Enya, Irish Tenors, Clancy Brothers (the rebel and drinking songs, of course), and we can't forget the Gregorian Chants... Jaysus, can you imagine Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven on 10?! Sigh... keep your Metallica... actually, KEEP IT DOWN!! and for god sakes, lower that bass! katy, the old fuddy duddy who prefers traditional folk to BLASTS from the past. xoxox... UNLESS: you wanna talk DooWop... THEN we've got some great sounds! (grin) You juvenile delinquent, you!! hehehehehehe...
