Paw…
He knows his own paw,
He gives it without stall,
His happiness showing,
His love no boundaries knowing…
No hesitation has he,
He trusts implicitly,
He looks at me like I am god,
Little does he know I am so much less…
Growls does he, when wrestling with dad,
Shows his teethies, happy he is, yes so glad,
To be with someone that loves him back,
His first year of life, love he did lack…
We love him more than life itself,
He is fed better than me, his dad,
The food he does get really top shelf,
Wish I ate as well as he, but he does deserve it,
He is my dog, my companion, and my little writer’s elf…
