Philosophy in need of repair...

Poem Artwork

…whatever…and so forth…from the “Id” of “Ed”…

My cup does runneth over,

Early to bed, early to rise,

You know of these statements I do surmise,

Written here in youthful angst,

I may be fifty, but that is young in the grand scheme,

Our lives that of an amusement park theme…

Dragged thru life we do continue,

Forced to work, to eat we must do, don’t want to discontinue,

On we do march; we lift each foot with a renewed clue,

Flying over our nest was a coo-coo sent by Winnie the pooh…

Sense this does not make,

I do so for all our sakes,

Every once in awhile we must ramble,

To clear out the cobwebs in our brains,

They do for us what eggs do when scrambled…

This is your brain,

This is your brain on drugs,

They may not be the best for any of us,

But might as well through life take the scenic route,

Not that it will be remembered, my brain turning into rotting fruit,

Therefore I am quite unable in the end to compute…

Ed--I rather like my commute without the "extras". I like to let my imagination wander when reading--sometimes they are the only vacations I get (although recently, many have come true). My Id is odd, but then sometimes, my odd is ID . . . May we wander safely. b

loved this and to me it made perfect sense. of course mine are prescribed but hey whatever route you take you ought to make the most of the scenery it may come trickling back on some brain wave of events and might be remembered for all its worth to be nothing more than a dream

Well Ed, it seems as if your "Id"
hit a nerve here that most folks
would deny but they all have a
substance of choice...whether it
be alcohol or herbs ...

ummmm...me?...no of course not! ;o)

lol...

Well my mind wanders too Ed I think it got lost wandering around in the desert for forty years. But on occasion it comes back. Okay I can get into this one too.
