Tutelage…

I have been under your guardianship,

You have all taught me quite well,

My poetic abilities would never in the past sell,

Since I have come here I have learned to get a grip…

To be a writer of any type,

One must learn to avoid the hype,

One must write when the feeling is ripe,

Or take the chance of losing even the slightest tripe…

I am in your debt for helping me to see the reasons,

Reason to live, reason to be, reason to be me,

Learning how to write of Nature and her seasons,

One special person out there, he knows who he is,

He introduced me to the Den, and treated me like my mother hen…
