It seems I could right more with this one, maybe later...?

Do what you feel is "write," "right" what you feel is you… You cannot write what you do not feel, One cannot force the self to write the unknown, One has to write what they feel, No matter the cost, no matter the direction you are prone… To write what one does feel, Isn’t that what we strive from our brains to steal? We search for that appeal, Inspiration comes from some sordid places, As well as from maybe children’s faces, We speak a great deal of our “muse”, Does it sometimes come, really, from kneeling in pews…? We search and scrutinize, We examine every little detail, We seek that which we cannot see, We keep writing till we are old and frail, Sometimes even doing so from our cells in jail… What does force us to write? What fire does lurk beneath our surface? That writing we find we must constantly embrace, Is it part and parcel of our very being? Or does it occur because from our minds we are fleeing…? Write what you feel is you, Be you a Catholic, Atheist or Jew, Your words may not find their mark, Hell, they may not even be in anyway new, To write though, may assist you in staying, Sane or insane, depending on where you did start, Write! Be a part of the few… © ed ~ 3/2/05

I do love this and I am going to be doing some freelancing to pay some bills. My Wanda has to have foot surgery and that is incentive to write.

To write what we feel, is what we know. It brings our passion to life. It touches our soul, and in a way makes us more complete... more whole. Its a "communion" with oneself, every poem a sermon, about what was, has been, or will be... very good "right"

Oh, you poets are all alike. Write what you feel. Bah! That's why we have the term "starving poets." If you could only learn to apply yourselves better. Learn to write what you do not feel, such as the commercial jingle. Write a love poem to the Geico Gecko. Get paid.
