Despite his short life, Mozart was a prolific composer. Mozart music includes many concertos, symphonies (such as the Jupiter), serenades (such as Eine kleine Nachtmusik); operas (such as The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni), and much church music (such as the Coronation Mass).
Bach, Beethoven & Mozart,
Classical music an art,
Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff,
Lows are easy, highs make me cough…
Radio all afternoon,
Pachelbel’s Canon in D can make me swoon,
We all have differing tastes,
Don’t think me for mine a loon…
Relaxing is classical,
Driving all day in traffic,
Through and about my area so geographical,
To remain calm and centered does make the day more restful,
This is a terrific, light-hearted poem about such a wonderful subject! And I agree, classical is soothing and centering. I myself like it all, I'm an all-around music lover.

I do so love Chopin's music and loved to play it as a child when I took lessons from 9 til 17. Now I play the organ and piano too, but like those classical records Tom left me too. Those old masters surely were entertaining and still are. I love and appreciate music and appreciate this write.
I would never do that, my brother, and I guess this is where you and I really differ - classical music drives me insane. Give me the Blues or C&W, any day of the week.

Yup, I'm a Tchaikovsky kind of guy when I slip a cassette into the car stereo, nuttin' like it. Think I should have been a politician, huh? Naw, I tend to speak my mind way too much, I'd never make it.
It's first on my list, though I love all music. Actually it is where all other music came from, even church hymns to begin with were all from classical pieces. In fact it was churches during Mozarts time that sponsored composers etc..I knew you had class;-)lol
They just discovered a piece of Mozart's brain and are studying it to see what made him deaf. He was buried in Salsburg in a pauper's grave, as he refused to be employed by the wealthy and was penniless at the time of his death. I love his C Minor Mass. Mozart was a devout Catholic, but kept his faith private. Good poem, Ed. It reduces road rage indeed! Probably even soothing for a dog named Rufuz.
