If you are blessed with longevity, you will once be an adult & twice a child... 

With longevity we could be blessed,

No reason then to be at all depressed,

Life is but an all out quest,

To discover our inner child, for life they have zest…

 

To be an adult,

From a child is the result,

Though some do not fare that well,

To injury they do add a great amount of insult…

 

After adulthood,

Again we “may” have a second childhood,

Will we by our children now be misunderstood,

Throughout life we try to do good,

We have with regards life generally withstood…

 

To gain age is to become a bit more sage,

Though for each other hard it is to gage,

Each of us from another we try to assuage,

Do not fly off the handle into a rage,

When one day you cannot recall your chronological age…
