Ran off at the mouth here just a bit...e

Poem Artwork

Illusory as it may sometimes seem

Our big blue marble does in space float

We have, or supposedly, plenty of water

Plenty of air and most of all plenty of people

But are we overstocked with an apparent lack of humanity…

To watch how our humanities have evolved

We see our children pummel each other to unconsciousness

Sometimes it seems we live in a dream

As far as I am concerned we all should at once scream…

For our world is being observed by others

Other races, deities & immortal mothers

All working to see this world succeed

All hoping that they did not waste of their seed…

Are we worth their help & guidance

Is what they foresee our end or

Just a new beginning or are we

Heading for subsidence…

DOES ANYONE REALLY KNOW…?

ED - FAR OUT - OLD DUDE!

I would be so bold as to merely move one letter - T - and change your Illusion into a Remedy - OPTICAL then becomes TOPICAL ...

"1 a: of, relating to, or arranged by topics <set down in topical form>
b: referring to the topics of the day or place : of local or temporary interest <a topical novel> <topical references>
2: designed for or involving local application and action (as on the body) <a topical anesthetic> <a topical remedy>

Kind of like that BLUE OINTMENT that one applies for BLUE-BALL CRABS!

:) :) :) TK.

I truly believe they see our end drawing near. And, Wow! Walt says you are now becoming a conservative. What a horrible way to meet your end, Bro.

Dear brother, don't whack the wasp nest or they will come out, the ones "we know everything" "we really know" orakles that have perfected the art of the game of mirrors to illusions of Optical Variety.
Brother, you are getting literary heavy!

I only know that the bible foretells these times happening ,and when you see what we have allowed our youth to become (like the beating incident you mention) I dread to see what the world will look like 20 yrs from now, when they are the leaders. It gets progressively worse with each generation. We need to be proactive, and make our voices heard, but it isn't easy unless we have the right leaders.
Excellent write!

You write what I feel in my heart. [In some ways] I think each of us 'really knows.' Sadly, those who see injustice and do nothing are the ones who blame others, rather than take a good, hard look at how their behaviors contribute to our demise.

God bless you. Kathy

We are worth it! Did you know the earth spins as average 1,000 miles per hour! There are things greater to be known. If you like science check this guy out: Nassim Haramein http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=4907540922643918266&hl=en

Last line, last paragraph: just have to watch the news to realize many on this planet have reached that level, Ed!

Keep "runnin' the mouth, Ed". Reminders don't hurt anyone.

No we don't really know...but we have to keep hope alive that it was not all a waste. This poem makes you think, I like that.
