After the Cordoba got repossessed

Still needed a car I guess

Went almost full circle

Buying a ‘67 Ford Galaxie 500

Was a pretty nice old car

Till a stop sign I did blow through

And hit another car, it did then lose its finesse…

Even with the front end wrecked

I remained with it quite nonchalant

Lost my freedom not long after its purchase

Wouldn’t have if I had learned how

To stay less than totally erect…

After three years I had but seven more

I had only cars I could personally afford

No more daddy to pay or co-sign
