Poem Artwork

At others I do constantly gloat,

For even though they are not mine,

I think they look altogether quite fine,

Just to again sit on board the old girl,

While at the dock she does float,

What a wonderful memory herein I note…

She was all of 21 or so feet,

A little cuddy cabin, so neat,

Even Rufuz liked to ride in her cabin,

The only thing wrong with her,

Was she had not enough seats…

You can see from the picture,

She was clean & was much fun,

She was well built, an older model,

Like everything else I do own,

Her I did keep quite well & did coddle…

Know the feeling old buddy, once you take a boat to sea and run with the clouds you always want more. It is the same with me and my motercycle, never had her that long but boy do I miss her when I see one go by.

Betcha you'll have another one just like her, someday, Ed. When the price of gas goes down a *lot* more :o) Both is something to look forward to!

Well, Ed, I know how you feel. I had an O'Day 27. Now she too is gone. Now I'm dreaming of a Trawler. One could write in it –– all sorts of things...

I believe I'm back online properly. You are a character. It would take God and three other responsible people to knock me up! Great boat...did it sink?
