The above pictured concert was in Vermont & I WAS there...though I wish I could remember it better...LOL...

He died on that date, He finally by drug use met his fate, He made so many people happy, He did as high as Hendrix & Morrison rate… *LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD… Jerry Garcia left us sixteen years ago,* A hundred & fifty concerts I did to go, So may acid trips during the concerts, He blew my mind in so many differing ways, Most of those concerts, though, remain in my memory a haze… *LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD… My first show, . the Electric Factory in Philly,* It was in February & the bus home had NO heat, But remember it I do, leaving the concert got me blue… *LONG LIVE THE GRATEFUL DEAD… My last concert was in the Meadowlands in North Jersey,* In April, a bunch of us drove up, this time I had a car, Heat I had then, but the show didn’t change, Jerry did his best to of the audience entertain… …LONG LIVE JERRY GARCIA & THE GRATEFUL DEAD…

Only saw them once in Panhandle Park in 1968. You must've been a real fan to see them 150 times. Never took acid, probably never will.

i remember seeing The Dead at Galic Park in the Bronx circa 67 ... with Pigpen ... saw them once again in Washington DC area, circa 68 with the Allman Bros. ...

"Deadheads" come in all shapes, sizes and ages, but I never knew anybody who could top 150 concerts. WOW!!!! You must know all the songs word for word by heart. Dick
