No harm in a little political rhetoric, I think we are still a FREE country...

Poem Artwork

Quitting your job is not easy,

Keeping your job shouldn’t be,

If you are unable to do that job,

Out the window you should of it lob…

One less politician,

Can just to this country make the admission,

He cannot cut it, if nothing else,

It will be a first in the annals of most all statisticians…

Granted his predecessor isn’t much better,

But until we can just maybe elect someone more helpful,

Then we will have to Bide(n) our time,

How can he do any worse,

Better than what is out there, most politicians are slime…

Obama is certainly speaking softly but not carrying a big stick. And, he has made some serious mistakes that his enemies love to pounce on to prove that he is unfit for the job. From my viewpoint, most of his problems have come from an overly powerful Congress, beholden to big contributors, who have lost sight of the American dream except for themselves and their families.

I stand by my claim that Obama will go down as the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. He is certainly facing some of the battles -- brutal at home and bloody abroad -- that Lincoln did in a divided country.

For those that declare him a lame duck, with the economy the way it is, I don't think there is anyone, short of some comic figure like Capt. America, who can bring this country back in short order like some seem to claim. I wish them luck, but expect they will fail until everyone in the United States feels whole again.

Different face same schit. Double digit unemployment figures don't mention the folks who are not getting compensation anymore and are still not working. In some places the rate is 50%. One day Americans will wake up to find they are in deep do do and elect someone that either party didn't force down out throats and give us no real choice as to our own future. It may be already too late.

I have watched the American reaction to this President and the things he has done or tried to do both good and bad. I don't know the full ramifications but I do think he is doing his best whether that is good enough or not to save a country in turmoil. He has definately aged fifty years since he was elected...that is obvious.

I don't envy the man, at all. He inherited an 8-year long, horrific mess that won't end any time soon. And I don't see anyone at all among the many Presidential Wannabes that even remotely knows where or how to begin to fix things. Strap yourself in; we're in for a long, brutal, bumpy ride.
