Jersey is not so much a place,
But a state of reality & mind,
Lived here all my life,
Gone through here all my strife,
NJ is one hell of a find…
Mountains to the north,
Beaches & ocean to the east,
Philadelphia, PA to the west,
The Delaware River to the south,
We’ve all grown here with a big mouth…
Lots of people, many cars,
Rarely with city lights,
Do we get to see many stars,
But to live here is to love here,
Rarely here do I feel fear…
