Dream...?

I went,

For time with mom & dad,

Well spent,

Made me feel quite glad,

Was around Easter,

During Lent…J

 

Loved them both so,

I don’t of that let it be known,

Passed on some humor,

Learned of a modicum of rumor,

Both did help me to be grown…J

 

Was it a dream,

If so a happy one,

Or a remembrance,

Of a better time,

Giving me something,

To herein rhyme…J

You seem to have had a happy childhood by the sea until you were ripped from it by some awful event in your childhood, leading to a life that came to now. Only you have the power to change you feel about now and how you are going to deal with it.
