A friend that I did love,

Our friendship did not fit like the proverbial glove,

We had good moments & we had bad,

But isn’t that what friendships are all about,

We loved each other though through moments of doubt…

She meant more to my best friend, Gene,

She was there for him & lived in his scene,

Together they had life’s moments that were high,

And other times when life was a bit low,

But all through that time they ambled TOGETHER slow,

We & they did throughout this friendship grow…

Patti did pass on to her heavenly Fathers house,

Just yesterday while doing what she loved,

She was playing on her computer, clicking her mouse,

Gene was & will be forever her spouse,

They did love each other beyond measure,

Sharing together many a pleasure,

They were for both a golden treasure…
