Poem Artwork

How do I ever forget,

How do I ever, the self, forgive,

I have tried and so far failed,

How long does it take,

How long a clown must I fake…?

My life coming to an end,

Likely through my own hand,

I am sick of physical torture,

And mental pain is the worst,

How long before my head does burst…

My memories do sometimes pass by,

Nightmares of past transgressions,

Of the people I did hurt,

I live in constant depression,

Awaiting the day of God’s intercession,

I hope HE will look kindly on me,

Allowing me to be nightmare free…

You are a very sensitive soul it's why it plagues you so much...
We have all made mistakes and hurt others either intentionally or
unintentionally... it is part of being human... You can't change or
continue to beat yourself up for this what is done is done and what happened has happened and we all grow from learning... So STOP keeping yourself in depression unless you just happen to like it there. Somehow I don't think you do... Just know ALL of US here understand, there is nothing to forgive it was all learning, just let YOUR nightmare go and give yourself the freedom you deserve. You have unjustly punished yourself enough! Now don't get me going! Or I might
have to make a trek to NJ to kick your skinny backside :)

As Annabel says, you are never alone Ed, there are many more out there. Do take care.

We all have demons in our past...but everything that's happened (good or bad) over a lifetime contributes to making us who we are today...you're NEVER alone with this way of thinking, my friend...the thing is the past is history....

You got some real good advice from all your friends, now don't add another mistake and do yourself in, just throw a few rocks at yourself from arm lengths distance that will do, ok, bless ya.

Ed,

There's no one who don't have regrets for past mistakes. Look to the future, we can't go back and change the past. God bless.

Many blessings,

How do you forgive? Live in the now and remember your only human. Perfection would put you on the other side.............. If you do something stupid I am going to kick your ass all the way through the astral field!

We all have ghosts in our pasts which show themselves at times. That's when we must get busy and do something in the here and now even if it means taking a walk around your digs. I'm sure HE will look much more kindly upon you than you do yourself!

Love ya!

Again, I should have written this. BUT, that is why we write, to get some of it out temporarily. You just wait your turn, and always get back to the one true friend-nature. It helps for a while.
