At least I am related to myself...

No such thing as family in my life, just good and dear friends that are closer than family...

Poem Artwork

Apparently I have no relatives,

Only one of them to me anything gives,

She is a good cousin, no matter where she lives,

Her brothers and such on the other hand, SUCK…

I tried around my birthday to restart our relationships,

I was a jerk when I was young & that they won’t forget,

On their respective shoulders resides many a chip,

Guess they’ll never come around, as I must owe them a debt…

A debt that can’t be paid,

Maybe all they need is to get more often laid,

But some people can’t let go of the past,

No matter how many times I have asked & asked…

Your friends can be your family and probably are. You tried making amends and if they cannot forgive you, that is their problem not yours, Ed.

I have cousins like that. Just read my "I know the Devil." I can't think of anything about them that would make a relationship favorable.
Better to play alone.

Sad for them. You don't need to be around those types of people. Be yourself for you are a joy.

Love ya!

Jane
