A class I’d like to take,
Philosophy is not a mistake,
As well astronomy will top my cake,
Taking these two classes might help me to feel great…

I want to get my brain to working,
Maybe keep me from feeling depressed,
I don’t care to attain a grade,
I just want to experience the thrill of learning…

You could not have picked two better subjects. To observe with clarity, to understand with objectivity, and to ogle when the need arises. :)

It couldn't hurt, Ed, to cram a bit of learning into the old gray matter.

Brilliant idea, Ed. There's nothing like giving yourself something interesting to focus on for boosting the self-esteem. As you say, the grades don't matter, just pick the joy out of it.
Keep us posted :-)
