To read,
It’s what I need,
Without it I will go to seed,
It is a food, on which I feed,
Without reading I fear my eyes will bleed,
Unable will I to be able to breed,
So much better it is the high from being able to read,
Than is when I do smoke the weed…

To read,
My passion,
Of food it is my daily ration,
Without anything to read my pallor goes ashen,
And that is not, in society today, the fashion…

To read,
Of part & parcel of the book am I,
I have read all my life, but not as much as of late, why,
At night I do fall asleep with a book on my thigh,
I am fearful that if I don’t have a next to read, I will likely of boredom die…
