...understanding this I seek...
...strive I do to help the self...

Poem Artwork

For this from my sleep I fought
By its fleeing tail this I caught

To hold on to this I did hard drive
To keep attached I must hard strive

A creaking ship I am forced to hear
My ship came in but is fast sinking I fear

To live alone I am an island unto myself
Living in a cave the rocks are my shelves

The sun does rise & for some hours shine
Inside I stay in my fabricated cave, otherwise I am fine

I eat what does of me sustain
I sneak looks at the outside through my window pane

For all this I was driven from my sleep
To write of what does from my brain seep

I don’t well comprehend of this free flowing thought
By writing; understanding of this is what I have sought…

These thoughts do not appear random at all, but are the result of sound sleep, something that you should cherish for the rest of your life, because it allows you to write positive poetry like this.

This sounds like a dream you must have had and like most people you have remembered bits and pieces of it. I do that a lot.

Love ya!

A chance to dream,
and fall asleep.
Random thoughts,
with meanings deep.

You've given new meaning to the term "man cave."
Yeah man, it seems you are all the rave.

Imaginative brain. Mine just attempts to clean and organize in chaos, over and over. Yours sounds more peaceful. Being alone sounds great to me.
