He is a man of the mid-sixties,
His age only that of an actual sixty,
He wears clothing from that era,
Even his shoes are from an earlier time,
No sneaker does he wear nor a boot,
Some people probably refer to him as an old coot…
To me he is my friend…
He loves old Studebaker cars,
He drives still his sixty four,
He wears a hat that reminds me of my dad,
In his leather coat and fedora (?) he looks like Indiana Jones,
All he needs is a whip & that will complete the look,
If you look at him you’d think of a character right out of a book…
That was one ugly Studebaker, no wonder the company's demise. I was in love with the 51s for their aircraft front end, rode to high school with a classmate's orange red convertible that started even at 30 below zero and went hunting with another classmate's that he got cheap, with a little bodywork because the previous owner had blown his head off in the car with a shotgun. Unable to replace the headliner, he covered all the holes with baseball cards.
