I live in a complex that does not allow the American flag,
But oh so many of the assorted nationalities here,
Fly their own flag; saying that the US flag is an affront,
They can fly their flags, Mexican, Indian & there is even an,
ISIS flag on one person’s porch; that being a personal to me, affront…
Well I say to them all that if I want to fly a stars & stripes,
And they are put off by my doing so then that is a bitch,
In point of fact the ISIS flag should be burned & the ashes,
Thrown into a sewer water ditch…
That sounds really strange. I don't know who runs your complex, but I see nothing wrong with displaying someone's heritage. As far as the ISIS flag goes, that may be serious or it may be just a prank.
It's really sad that flag raising and flag-waving often causes great turmoil, even when it's rather innocently done.
Hope you can fly your flag and do it without incident.
