Please be critical or suggest anything I can cnange for the better, as I want this to be sent to a pair of friends that got married last year...
Now that you’ve made it through of marriage the first year,
You’ve got it made so have no fear,
The second year of bliss that comes with marriage,
Is like a ride through a park in an ornate carriage…
Apparently you both do of each other love,
Marriage now should for both of you fit like an old glove,
Warm that glove is but stretched to fit as well,
One that you wouldn’t give up, a comfy feeling you wouldn’t sell…
i see nothing wrong here. the sentiment is clear, but if you want them to make many future generations, you'd better include some gift wrapped K-Y Jelly with those well wishes.
It certainly has Ed Matlack poetry style written all over it. The only advice I would give is to somehow change that last line. That annoying request generally comes from the in-laws and not outlaws like you, because it's none of your business. ;-)
A collection of love poetry both relatable and unique.. Poems both joyful, playfu , yearning and romantic. The Poet has exposed his heart and soul in words of love and admiration. Take a journey through the thoughts of a Contempary poet of love. Poet
