A game...

Is it, after all is said and done, just a game, this life we live...?

Poem Artwork

Too make use of my brain,
Is quite altogether a major strain,
My intelligence meager & lame,
Is life for all good intentions merely a game?

A game, unbelievable and unwinning,
In life we seem to excel in sinning,
We try to help our future selves by giving,
In this one life are we supposed to do all our living?

What will the afterlife, if any, bring,
Will we be angels sitting on a cloud to sing,
Will we find everlasting peace & solace,
Or are we to end this game of life goalless?

The game of life. I hope we all win at the end.

Slow down. One day at a time is all we have. That's too big a thought to tackle. I'll be that soul that makes it through this "acid test" life or know why!

Love ya!

I guess that life is a game… The game of survival. Only two things are certain: if we live, we were born, and we know we will die. In between, we make millions of decisions that determine how everything turns out before (in italics) we die.

Since the majority of us, including you, find playing the game of life extremely difficult, it is easy to think of some better place after this life to kind of catch up and relax. I don't think it exists, so I am doing everything during this life, because as far as I can see, I won't have another chance.

I had a friend who liked to say, "It's a great life if you don't let it get you down." Life like death is a mystery, and if life is a game, I must spend most of my time on the bench. And like George Carlin said, wouldn't it be nice to get a 2 minute warning before death claims us.

All valid questions that are in search of an answer. We each find our own answer I guess in our own way.

Your worries began the day the Doctor slapped
you on the butt to make sure you had what it takes......
Everyday after that you’re on borrowed time.
Someone said this thing tha surrounds us is called “Time”
And we are stuck here in a pit stop on our way to paradise.
Peace be with you Pal.........

Yo ED...

As Dr. Zorba used to say on Ben Casey:

Man...
Woman...
Birth...
Death...
Infinity...

That's It Bunky !
Finito !
Done !
The End !
End of Story !

Do not pass Go...
Do not collect $200 !

As Sherlock Holmes was wont to say:
"The Game is Afoot !"

The Game of Life has already started.
So, run fast, so you can catch up!
Once it ends, the Race is O'er !

No Mansions in the Sky !
No Burning in Hell !
Nuttin' Honey

😇😻🙏😎😜

All you have to do is build yourself a really big catapult and take a ride to answer most of those questions, Ed. Problem solved.

Since no one has been there and returned to inform us what the life and the so-called hereafter is all about, your guess is as good as the next fellows.
