Drivers and hernias go hand-in-hand. My great-grandfather was a beer wagon driver out of Milwaukee. My grandfather was a chauffeur for a rich Chicago man with Wisconsin farms. My father drove truck and was a Teamster all his working life.

I drove nearly every state in the union and across Western Canada twice in the East once, into Mexico border area multiple times. Well over 500,000 miles. Loved every mile, even commuting in Houston. A car guy through and through. No trucks for me.

I worked in the Customs and also the Tax department. Very stressful jobs! I don't miss them.
