Hope its scentless/senseless...

Poem Artwork

 Not so much drawn,

To writing of late,

Can’t figure what is wrong,

My desire for the computer,

Is no longer either strong,

Somewhat like I’ve through a gate gone.

What else is there to do,

What else is there to write,

Nothing is in my sight,

I’ve not got a clue?

I hear the vehicles speeding past,

Hard to believe they do so quite fast,

Like the ones that get there last,

Are the ones that get there without gas,

You figure it out…

Feel sorry that you have run out of gas (ideas). I saw that happen to Jerry Bolton when I called him at the assisted living home. Perhaps he just had enough ladies around to talk to that he didn't have to resort to daily poetry.

I still have plenty of gas. Won't have to purchase any, anytime soon. As far as I know, the fastest vehicles on the planet at least in the short run like a quarter-mile are no electric. That electricity often is still produced by gas. Much gas is emitted by the sun and the wind is nothing but air, a gaseous mixture moving around, putting pressure on the fins of a turbine to make it move.

I don't drive that much. My 2002 GMC Jimmy (over 18 years old but looks like new) has less than 90,000 kilometres (56,000 miles) so far. I only gas up about once a month or less so I do get to go past a lot of gas stations. 😁 Love and peace to you, Ed.

We have these feelings at one time or another, especially during this pandemic time when we've got nothing else to do after work, or some can't even go to work at all. You would think we may get more productive in writing given more time to be at home, but this is different, we are being forced to have nothing to do. No restaurants are opened, no theatres are open (it's not like I go there often, but knowing that they are closed makes a difference), no gyms, can't even sit in the park. We are like having house arrest. Relatives come only when I invite them. What kind of life is this?

Seriously, I enjoyed the jam-packed schedule when I had to go to work and then come home and be inspired to write a poem or two, or write a story 'til late into the morning, and then sleep a few hours and go off to work again. Those days are now gone. No entertainment at home here. Just sitting around watching TV, go grocery shopping every once in a while. Not a life I would prefer at all. I don't even know if we ever get back to normal. I miss pigging out in the all-you-can-eat restaurants, but I doubt if they will ever exist even when the pandemic is over. Many restaurants have filed for bankruptcies already. *Ugh!* Just so pathetic! Nothing to do!!!

I know what you mean. Coincidentally, I’ve been watching , ( are you ready) farting preacher videos on youtube. I may be a Christian, but I’m one who feels the majority of Christianity worldwide is illegitimate. I know I’m now at a d often, but I had to say something here.
