Lost Virginity...

Under self help as to put pen to paper,
I find myself feeling relieved,
If this should bring on a tear or pity,
So be it, maybe it will help u to understand,
Any others out there,
And maybe take a stand.
Against attrocities as in this poem...ed

Lost Virginity…

Did so when I was quite young,

Not so much the loss I regret,

Was the timing, I bet,

To lose ones cherry,

When they were four,

Is not very, merry.

Those that did,

Stated they were not fairies,

Just wayward boys, looking for fun,

But once the dirty deed was done,

This boy grew up with torture & no fun.

Did not know which way to go,

Attracted to others of same sex,

Afraid of others of opposite sex,

What do you suppose is next?

He did not marry,

At least not yet,

Didn’t feel anyone wanted him,

Was afraid of sex he did not know,

Also afraid of the fact that he was a “ho”,

Pretty scary for a boy to grow,

And not be able to hold in his movements,

After being raped and torn apart at four!

Such a sad boy, he played by himself,

As he was afraid someone would find out,

He was no longer the virgin & he did pout,

His parents, not much more mature,

Or maybe too immature to have a violated son,

They tried their best, but in the end,

He turned out to be what they did abhor.

That poor kid, as he grew,

He was the only one that knew,

But claimed lack of memory,

For the actual act upon his young body,

As still he does not remember,

The doctors say it is for the best,

But he swears someday,

Somehow, he will settle the score.

With his belief in Karma,

And his want of a better “next” life,

He knows now not to settle that score,

But who knows what will happen in future?

If he was to meet his rapists in person,

Would he then settle his score?

Or consider them just as immature then,

As he was & unable to be punished now,

For something that happened way back when…

Oh Ed,
Such a heartbreaking write...
It almost reminds me of what
I wrote today...

Yes, one day justice will
prevail...
For we all come face to
face with our maker...
Those who had hurt us,
will have to answer to God.

Hugs,
Trixie :(

This is a heartwrenchingly tragic write, Ed. Sadly, it is far too often a fact of life that we live in such a society where these things happen. You treated this difficult topic with eloquence.

This seems to be a day of 'self help' here in the den. I agree with, Floria, Ed. Maybe we all need to rid ourselves of the demons in our heads. Kudos for penning this.

Tears, tears, tear. "Vengeance is mine," says the Lord. If only the hands of time could be turned back and a new life begun. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain and anxiety. But I will say this Ed, I admire you so much for writing this and posting it. Writing is a great healing tool. Maybe you should write a book. A self help book for others. Prayers and blessings to you. Floria
