Dance With Me Daddy

I wrote this for my Daddy. I always thank God for giving me such a caring and loving Father.

To you, am still your little girl

I say not enough the threesome most powerful words

Here again with all my heart, 'I love you Daddy'

You have been my father in good and bad times

You never shuddered at your responsibility to

educate us, to love us and to be there for us

When i was little, you were my strong warrior

Your presence gave me assurance that no danger would befall me

Your words of encouragement and wisdom

always ring bells in my ears

I smile with pride, proud that you are my Daddy

As we sing Christmas Carols, every Christmas

You whistling happily, as you have always done

Am still your little girl

Dance with me Daddy

The best Daddy in the world

That's you!

Daughters and fathers have a special bond like I do with my mother. As I read this I was reminded by that beautiful song, "Dance with My Father Again," by Luther Vandross a year before he died.

He will love this and cherishes it…

Wow! An outstanding tribute! Any father would LOVE to have a daughter like you. But, we only get ONE true daddy here on earth. Still, the best is yet to come when we get to Heaven.
