Nevermore Nevermore My caller is a friend who repeats tragic news An ingrained bad habit delivering calamities In between reports I counter with good news That she and I had not seen terrible events To visit us for a long time adding cheerfully That it is not a kind thing to repeat bad news Unless the listener is connected to the event Or entitled to learn about it for good reason Total quiet by the caller allows my declaring That from today I shall not repeat bad items Since they are mongered gossip I pledge to Keep Poe's promise - Nevermore Nevermore 2007 F William Broome �

I like the couplet structure of this piece, Bill.. I have found I don't write in couplets often enough these days myself.

Love this ataely and crazy bird. They are like teens when they run in a pack throughout a corn field. This bird is a genuis with its brain and never more underestimate the Raven.
