When I sit down and see the many colors nature has made for me
I can only wonder how God's plan fits into all of this
But it's not my job to make it make sense my love,
It's not my task to make it all fit.
I just want to wrap myself into life's many mysteries and jump off of the cliff
I just want to not know anything, just to feel the breeze against my face...taste the rose petal of it's fruit
Hear the water splash upon my face
I don't want to think or wonder, I just want to feel the tune of music flowing through my blood
As I race towards the flower's fields...and lay myself down into God's pillowed ground
Or fly into the hard earth, and feel what it's like to skin my knees
I want to feel the pain rush into my body, into my brain
I don't want to think about how it happens, why, or who invented it
I just want to experience all of it, or at least a portion of what I can feel, without pretense, without hesitation, I just want to taste my spirit as it licks up the chicken soup of my soul.
I have no etiquette, I have no grace, I have no examination, and I am fine with all of what I have to offer to this world
Because I am a part of the whole expansion that lies within our galaxy of beauty. If only I can let go of my imperfection, and hold it in my arms, appreciating all of it, as if it were pebbles in the road, part of how life is to the wildlife. Beautifully drawn into sketches of life.
In perfect imperfection.
I will not wait. I will one day not want to wait. I will want to run to it, like a child running to the carousel, anticipating the feeling without really remembering it.
