On this side of the pond we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty (by the press). If our case is not sensational to be spread all over the web of deceit, we must pay for a "good" lawyer to at least plead our case, guilty or not. If we can't afford an attorney then we get the dregs of the bar for our trouble. Even while pleading it, a guilty verdict is guaranteed.
Bonsoir, "m" ! Many thanks for the comment. I take it you feel likewise. Isn't it a crying shame Justice always stays out of reach of the poor "destitutes". True, some do get some help some times, but that's a mere drop in the ocean of distress in litigation. Every good wish.
