Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Journey

Everyone is on life’s journey,
Leading on to God knows where.
Each step is fraught with danger,
So my friend, you must beware.

For the path ahead is uncertain,
As it leads on to pastures new;
You may grow faint and weary,
If the road, is not right for you.

Yet although the way is narrow,
And the road, so hard and long;
Just remember, God is with you,
Then with confidence ~ walk on.

Come to Him each weary soul,
For He longs to give you rest;
Your pain and sorrow to console,
And make you Heaven blessed.

On the day you end your journey,
You will reach that golden shore;
There to dwell in realms of glory,
When God opens Heaven's door.

He will take your heavy burdens,
From all shoulders lift the weight;
When He greets you on arrival,
Where He stands at Heaven's gate.

So choose the straight and narrow,
To be sure you're Heaven bound;
Where all Paradise awaits you,
And your treasure store is found.

God welcomes weary travellers,
When each story has been told;
Into their final resting place,
In Heaven's Celestial Fold.
