Christmas 2022 had many challenges for many people due to Covid, crime and just pure hatred for one another. Let us try to make 2023 a much safer and happier year!
Twas the night before Christmas and all over the World,
Prayers were being said by each little boy and girl.
I heard a little boy was praying for his friends,
That they would learn to love one another and let the fighting end.
He prayed that they would stop the killing and put the guns away,
To avoid the drugs and thug street life to live another day!
He was also praying for the family ties that bind,
And for them to live in a loving family structure as was designed.
One little girl was heard praying not for a new toy,
She prayed one lost soul would find Christmas joy.
Perhaps the homeless will find a warm bed to sleep,
Or being blessed with a hearty meal to eat.
But this prayer was not just for the homeless you see,
She prayed hard for each and every family.
Families who are struggling; families who are alone.
Families who have lost a love and faith no longer shown.
She wanted God to show them the reason for the season,
To let them know they are not alone and HE is the reason.
If you are in a lonely place where you thought you would descend,
Have faith and believe that HE will bring you through and this is not your end.
This little girl who prayed this prayer of faith do you wonder who she could be?
Just someone who wanted everyone to be blessed: that little girl is me!
