Where does life begin, and where does life end
is not everything sacred under the sun
we stand condemned by our perceptions
prompting us to re-evaluate our misconceptions
that we experience between dawn and dusk
is one species of life greater than another
and by whose authority do we dutifully slaughter
God's creatures that roam the Earth
who walked this planet before Man arrived with a Big Bang
and set himself up as Lord of All he surveyed
and decided who should live and die
with presumptious and breathtaking arrogance
as they drain the globe of its vital minerals and elements
and deplete the rivers and the forests
destroying and exhausting our natural resources
sowing their acidic discord in the clouds
and waging war on their neighbourly kin
a more bloodthirsty lot you could not find
between the poles or under the Sun
and now that the chips are all down
and Satan is calling in his markers
as we view the yawning chasm
that stretches before our very eyes
we cast our minds back to our childhood
and remember the words of our Paw
Adam failed the first test set before him
and as a stark and sobering result
this Fallen World must die

I personally don't think so - since all species are so thoroughly intertwined on this planet we call Earth, and in this thing we call life - and every form of life has a purpose.

And that, I truly believe as well.
I'm a believer Peter...in the smallest iota of a detail and when I die...my eyes will live in my grandchildren and my talent for art in my daughter and so..I believe in this immortlity that comes with living and passing on the beauty of positive footsteps that I left behind.
