Wariness about change is a kind of prairie wisdom.

— Poet Kathleen Norris

...................................................................................................

The winter chill blows fiercely and eerily on my face

tattered and fragmented leaves, swirl along the sidewalk

as painted memories of you , coming rushing back to me

down through the hidden vortex, of time and space

as I wonder and contemplate, where your spirit now resides

when you have once loved, you never stop loving

no matter how much water, has passed under the bridge

that blessed person retains, the very essence of you

the dna of love, forever entombed within our souls

despite the physical ever changing, intense feelings linger on

like the restless and turbulent river, flows ceaselessly ever onwards

so I my beloved, move endlessly around your orbit

configurations of blinding emotions, known only to us

and as we drift effortlessly, beneath the heavenly glory

you will forever be with me, on our distant horizons

Your spirit comes through this work. Those we love, and those we don't, but particularly the ones who left a positive mark in our hearts, are forever with us. Thank you, Peter.

To have loved and then be parted for whatever reasons is emotional as this one for me to read. Powerful and beautiful penning here Peter.....
I was so blessed to read the expressed emotions in moving poetry.

Sir Peter the Magnificent ...

Just a delightful write my friend. Filled with insight, wisdom, and love. The essence of your heart for your soul mate illumines the pages of the fine letters for eternity.

Your words:
"so I my beloved, move endlessly around your orbit
configurations of blinding emotions, known only to us"
reveals the deep and abiding emotional and spiritual connection you have with your love. You are a blessed man dear friend.

In deep admiration ...
