The last of the company has all gone home

Just you and me girl finally alone

That’s Christmas country style

 

Come here let’s stand beneath the mistletoe

Share a kiss as we watch the falling snow

That’s Christmas country style

 

Let’s dim the lights and lay beside the tree

What do you say girl it’s just you and me

That’s Christmas country style

 

Gifts wrapped in pretty paper of red and green

But you’re the prettiest gift I’ve ever seen

Now let me untie that red ribbon in your hair

Oh girl let’s make some holiday cheer

Grab old Nanna’s blanket we’ll spread it out

Oh now you know what I’m talking about

Old Santa pal you got my wish just right

Awww, this is so light, joyfull and keeping with the spirit. I used to shoot fresh mistletoe to bring home when I would go out riding, on a horse that is. Gosh, so long ago it seems.....
