To Raise The Grail

By: Fee

twas on the sweet sun kissed fields of Arcadia

where the white cross finally bled its soul

as the true knight of Fleur de Lis arose

t’were the time to fight the demon’s goal

aye the knight of the Fleur de Lis would ride

black horse like the Apocalypse lathered four

to defy the false temples and unholy stones

of the pagan defrocked priests for evermore

verily the sacred signs he gave for all time

aye to be passed from child to child the key

with revered heads on sword hilts are bowed

in awe they will guard saintly on bended knee

while on the moors with their shrieks from hell

spew forth the angel demons of the false pope

commanding with envied greed to fill his plate

dangling truth on a Roman’s hanging rope

now secrets stashed in the embodied soul

forever sealed the holy blood inside the grail

and laid down the knight in his cross of white

aye his broken body twill ne’er more fail
