I am sorry I had missed this one for now I feel as though I missed the greatest of all Felix for this is the greatest. I love it. Thank you for sharing.
When I pass (die, expire, pass-away) perhaps my love for the light of my life will pass with me into eternity, but Cupid's bow isn't going to make that happen, Fee. True love, like fine wine, ages well.

'Memories light the corner of my mind
Misty watercolor memories of the way we were
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were
Can it be that it was oh so simple then
or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again, tell me

like this. I was once told I wasn't romantic enough. It was a shock to me. This poem made me think of that kind of thing, and recently, your writings have been exceptional, Felix. Excellent work :) Michelle
